Ben Hall has gained worldwide recognition as one of Britain’s leading professional wildlife photographers. With a lifelong passion for the natural world, Ben has used his skill in photography to capture many stunning images. He is driven by the need to protect and preserve Britain’s last fragile ecosystems, as testified by his work for the RSPB, various Wildlife Trusts and other conservation organisations.
Ben’s spectacular images have earned him numerous prestigious international awards including over 20 awards in the British Wildlife Photography Awards many awarded images in the Windland Smith Rice Awards USA, Geographical Photographer of the Year, a category win in Bird Photographer of the Year and many more.
Ben is a regular photographic and editorial contributor to clients as diverse as BBC Wildlife, Practical Photography, Outdoor Photography, Photography Monthly, Professional Photographer, Digital Photographer, Digital Camera Magazine, Digital SLR Photography, Digital SLR User, Birds Illustrated, Birding (USA), Birdwatch, Living Edge, The Countryman, Cheshire Life, to name but a few.
Ben has also been made vice president of Cheshire Wildlife Trust, and has appeared on many TV and Radio programmes including BBC 1’s Walk on the Wild Side, BBC The One Show and BBC Countryfile.
